Environmental SUPPORT
Our extensive horticultural programme includes over 600 planted flowers and plants, plus 20+ bird nesting boxes, creating a biodiverse environment that benefits local wildlife and crew wellbeing.
Albert Accreditation
As an Albert-accredited facility, we support productions in achieving their sustainability certifications and encourage the use of Albert-approved suppliers across all departments.
EV Infrastructure
We've incorporated electric vehicles into our fleet. We also offer 20 x 22kWh on-site charging stations for production teams and guests, making sustainable transportation accessible and convenient.
Energy Efficiency
LED lighting throughout the facility significantly reduces energy consumption while maintaining optimal working conditions for cast and crew.
Renewable Energy
Our entire site operates on 100% renewable electricity, ensuring clean energy powers every aspect of production.

Next Generation Infrastructure
Biomass Heating System
Six biomass boilers capable of being fuelled by wood chip or recycled wooden sets—turning production waste into renewable energy and creating a closed-loop system that reduces landfill and carbon emissions.
Solar Power Generation
3,202 SolarEdge panels will be installed across the site, generating an estimated 1,311,310 kWh per annum—enough clean energy to power our stages, offices, and support facilities year-round.
Battery Storage Solution
A 1-megawatt battery storage system will store solar-generated energy, ensuring consistent renewable power supply even during peak demand and overnight operations.
Rapid EV Charging Network
20 x 22kWh rapid electric vehicle chargers will be installed across the site, making Dragon Studios one of the most EV-friendly production facilities in the UK—supporting the industry’s transition to zero-emission transportation.
